Mandatory Advisement - All Journalism students who plan to attend CSUN during Spring 2010 must see their advisers for academic counseling during the advisement period. Advisement will begin on Monday, March 15 and will run through Friday, April 23. Students will not be cleared for registration until the Department has the counseling form on file. The journalism office does not make appointments, just plan to see your advisor during her/his office hours. Please pick up your forms and files in the Department office, MZ 210.

Sundial Editor Applications - Editor applications are available for the Summer and Fall of 2010 for the Daily Sundial. If you are interested please review the various job descriptions and requirements at Then download and complete an  application and return it to Melissa Lalum, Daily Sundial newsroom, MZ 140, or the Journalism Office, MZ 210. The deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 26.

CONGRATULATIONS - The following entries from California State University Northridge have been selected to receive Region 11 Mark of Excellence Awards from the Society of Professional Journalists. The awards will be presented during the Mark of Excellence Luncheon at the upcoming Spring Conference, April 30-May 2 in San Francisco. The conference will be held at the University of San Francisco.
