During the internship you will be able to write, shoot, edit post community stories while working with a local editor. is a collection of hyperlocal online community news and information sites dedicated to covering and celebrating towns in all of their complexity and diversity. Patch is looking for interns that are in the South Bay, on the West Side of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley and in the San Gabriel Valley. One intern will be assigned to each town for the fall term. Qualified candidates should have a passion for community news and should be able to write/report in a fast paced environment. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 12-15 hours a week and are expected to generate two or more stories a week. The intern must be able to receive college credit. Research - SAGE, an independent international publisher of journals, books, and electronic media is currently looking for a fall part-time intern in their Library Information Group to perform research on online publishing platforms, library databases and academic researcher needs. The intern must be committed to work for 10 - 15 hours a week for approximately one month. The position pays $10/hour. Research experience is required as is upper-level undergraduate or graduate standing, Journalism or Mass Communication students preferred. New! Broadcast - KTLA, is offering an opportunity to students to apply classroom theories and concepts to real work situations through the KTLA Internship Program. KTLA, is looking for interns that can be in the news and research areas. Student must be at least a sophomore and be able to receive college credit.
