FOUR WEEKS LEFT FOR SPRING 2011 ADVISEMENT – If you plan on attending CSUN during the spring 2011 semester, then you must see an adviser. Advisement is required in order to register for classes. See the list of advisers on the table outside the Journalism Department office to determine who your adviser is and when his/her office hours are offered. Come by MZ 210 on the day you are going to see your adviser to pick up your file and advisement form. The office does not make appointments and office hours are walk-in, based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Freshmen must make an appointment to meet with an adviser at the Student Resource Center/EOP by calling 818/677-2024. All other students meet with their faculty adviser during their walk-in office hours.
Cancelled Office Hours – Prof. Linda Bowen will not hold office hours on Monday, October 4 and Wednesday, October 6.
Study Abroad - Students have the opportunity to study abroad through the NYU's international academic center. NYU sites in Argentina, Ghana, England, Czech Republic, China and Israel. These locations offer exciting courses and engage students in international culture and politics on which they will be reporting and writing. More information can be found at NYU.
