Office Hours - Wednesday, December 8 is the last day for faculty office hours.  Advisers will not hold office hours during finals week, nor anytime after for the rest of the year.

MAP Required to Apply for Graduation - Starting December 1, 2010, Admissions Records will require all students applying for graduation to submit a “My Academic Planner” along with their Department Grad Check and Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma.  For information about MAP log on to http://www.csun.edu/anr/degreeprogress/map.html

Fall 2010 internship - All students enrolled in Fall 2010 internship classes, need to be complete their internship before finals week, this includes submission of the Final Report, Final Semester Evaluation and completion of hours.

Fall 2010 Final Exams - Students can view their final exam schedule in the SOLAR Student Center. Log into myNorthridge and in the My Path to Graduation box, click Student Center (SOLAR). From the Other Academic pull-down menu, select Exam Schedule. Even if no final exam schedule displays for a class in SOLAR, confirm the exam, room, date and time with your instructor.  Final exams will be held Thursday, December 9 through Wednesday, December 15, 2010.

Mark of Excellence Awards - The Society of Professional Journalist presents the Mark of Excellence Awards honoring the best in student journalism. The contest is open to anyone enrolled in a college or university in the U.S. The contest is offering awards for print, radio, television and online collegiate journalism. Entries must have been published or broadcast during the 2010 academic year. Entries are first judged at the regional level. First place regional winners advance to the national competition and are recognized at SPJ spring conferences. National winners will be showcased on SPJ.org.
