Auto Editor - Los Angeles based Internet Brands, Inc. is currently seeking a Part-Time Auto Editor. This is a great opportunity to get directly involved in the management and growth of some of the Internet's leading content-driven websites. Responsibilities: Create and assign out article topics to outside writers; Coordinate with outside writers to ensure that articles are completed on time and that the articles follow editorial guidelines; Publish articles onto our network of automotive sites; Analyze performance of content and make suggestions for improvement; Assist with the creation of online newsletters. Qualifications: Ability to be flexible, grasp new concepts quickly and be creative in trying new ways to do things; Strong writing background, preferably grads or students in journalism, English or writing fields; Solid understanding of the web as well as some understanding of SEO; Excellent communication skills with an ability to develop good relationships through both verbal and written conversations; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work with Excel; Familiarity with the automotive and aftermarket industry a plus. Associate Editor - AutoWeek Magazine is currently seeking an associate editor. Qualifications: Journalism degree, excellent writing skills (please know the difference between its and it's), ownership of a copy of the AP Style Book, extensive knowledge of cars and the automobile industry, pleasant, inquisitive demeanor to ferret out information from car companies, if you can recite from memory the front row of the Indy 500, that's a plus.
