UDWE - The next test date for the Upper Division Writing Exam is May 28, 2011. This is the last test that can be taken for those with a Spring 2011 expected graduation date. Registration ends on May 20. Undergraduate students must take or register to take the Upper Division Writing Test this semester if they will complete 75 units or more by the end of spring 2011. Students can take the exam after completing 56 units and meeting the Lower Division writing requirement. Students who have not taken the UDWPE or have not registered to take the exam by the completion of 75 units will have a hold placed on their Fall 2011 registration.
Kenneth S. Devol First Amendment Forum - The Los Angeles Times' reporters Jeff Gottlieb and Ruben Vives will be the feature speakers at this year's Kenneth S. Devol First Amendment Forum. The event will focus on their Pulitzer Prize-winning public service work, "Breach of Faith," that investigated and reported on the corruption scandal in the city of Bell. The 20th annual event will take place Tuesday, May 10, from 2 - 4 p.m. in the Thousand Oaks room in the USU.
