Public Relations - DRS and Associates is a full-service advertising and public relations firm, with a main client focus on high-end, luxury home and lifestyle products. The internship is available for a dynamic individual who has the drive and motivation to not only apply the skills obtained at school, learn in a real-life setting, apply public relations and social media tactics to reach our clients’ target demographics and learn about our clients’ industries. Duties include general office work, preparation and fulfillment of press kits and mailings, research, data entry, press-clippings, writing, social media, interviewing, and contact with media professionals. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to take on our "industry news" outreach project with our media contacts. Social Media - Mommy Rated, LLC is currently looking for self-motivated and talented student interns willing to do content research and to write witty and expressive thoughts in response to the information retrieved. The company is currently responsible for a smart phone application called “Kidinga.” Mommy Rated is also seeking help with its Facebook and Twitter marketing campaigns. This internship will require at least 5-10 hours a week. Interns may receive course credit for this position. While most of the work may be conducted remotely, Mommy Rated will require consistent feedback from interns as well as the ability to easily get in touch with them. A NDA (a Non-Disclosure Agreement) and an (MOU) Memorandum of Understanding agreement will need to be signed as well. The company is interested in hiring interns within the next couple of weeks. Interns will be an integral part of the launch of the company’s new venture. Interns at GistCloud will see, first hand, the process of aggregating and syndicating dynamic content for news organizations. The requirements for this position include majoring in journalism with some public relations knowledge, superior research, creative writing, and communication skills, extensive Web and social media knowledge, and access to a computer. Interns may work remotely, and interns can be paid part-time or work for college credit. Hours are flexible, but interns should expect to work a minimum of 15 – 20 hours per week.
