Sales Account Executive – KRTY and KLIV stations are seeking a radio salesperson to make presentations to potential clients with the purpose of selling radio advertising to them. Some sales experience is required, and since this is an outside sales position, an automobile is necessary. Applicants must have copy writing capability and experience working with basic business software like Microsoft Word and Outlook. Applicant must also be self-motivated with great people skills. The salesperson will be paid commission on his or her sales, and a guarantee is offered during the first three months. Summary Writer – A book summary writer is needed for a descriptive analysis of the book College Writing Essentials, by David Skwire and Harvey S. Wiener. The writer will be compensated $50 for accepting the job, $50 for the first draft, and $100 for the final copy of the paper. In addition, the cost for purchasing the book will be refunded with a receipt. The writer must read the book to give a proper, comprehensive analysis. The summary is due December 31, 2011. Client Service Specialist - KQCA “My58” seeks an energetic person to become a Client Service Specialist. This position provides administrative assistance and support to the sales department. Student Lead Editor - C.A.P.T.U.R.E.D., the visual arts/multimedia student journal, is seeking a student lead editor. Job responsibilities include developing strategies for soliciting journal submissions, working with the graphic designer and Web content designer, maintaining communication with contributors, making presentations, designing publicity materials, reviewing journal submissions, communicating with the Faculty Review Committee, managing the production process, helping with distribution, and more. Qualified students should be undergraduates in upper division standing or graduate students with excellent writing, communication, computer, leadership, and organizational skills.  The student lead editor will receive $11 per hour and work 5 -7 hours per week (15 hours per week during production).
