Summer Teacher - The Institute of Reading Development is seeking candidates for summer 2012 teaching positions. The Institute is an educational service provider that teaches developmental reading programs in partnership with the continuing education departments of more than 100 colleges and universities across the United States. The Institute provides a paid training program and comprehensive on-going support. Summer teaching positions with the Institute offer the opportunity to earn more than $6,000 during the summer. Teachers typically earn between $500 and $700 per week while teaching. The positions will also provide teachers with over 300 hours of teacher training and experience with a variety of age groups. Applicants should have an undergraduate degree or higher from any discipline. Applicants should also have strong reading, communication, and organizational skills. News Producer – KCRA in Sacramento is seeking a creative person who understands how to put a newscast together based on the needs and expectations of viewers. Responsibilities include input on daily news coverage, line producing, writing and working closely with the technical and marketing teams. Applicants must communicate clearly, work well with others and be effective under the pressures of a live television newscast.
