Multimedia – The Freedom Forum is accepting applications until March 1, 2012, for the American Indian Journalism Institute summer session, which will take place June 13 –22, 2012. Students attend AIJI for free and receive other financial assistance. Applications are welcome from any Native American college student preparing to become a journalist. AIJI students will be eligible for college credit by taking a multimedia journalism course. Once the session is completed, AIJI graduates compete for a six-week paid internship in a journalistic field. To be eligible, students must have completed at least one year of college. Program graduates will earn three hours of college credit from the University of South Dakota that may transfer to their current school. Students must also be able to provide transportation to and from Vermillion, South Dakota. Multimedia – The Network is the largest community of modeling agencies in the world. The Network Community, the Network’s online magazine for models created by models, is seeking current or former models in Los Angeles who have a strong passion or expertise in journalism, social media, article editing, Photoshop, or video editing. Candidates must have a personal laptop which must be brought to work each day. This is an unpaid internship. The internship is located on Melrose in Los Angeles.
