Public Relations - An entertainment PR agency in West Hollywood is looking for extremely motivated, hard-working and passionate individuals to support its team. This internship could develop into a full-time job for the right person in the future. Interns will be placed in areas included talent/lifestyle, film/television/corporate entertainment, and digital entertainment.  Knowledge or interest in one or all of the areas is preferred. This is an unpaid internship; however, college credit is available. Interns must be willing and passionate about learning the basics of public relations, including but not limited to: database management, research, and other administrative duties. Applicants must be enrolled in college, working towards a degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or have the equivalent of an Associate’s degree or higher. Education -  The J. Paul Getty Museum is offering a summer 2012 unpaid internship for freshmen and sophomore undergraduate students. Applicants must be enrolled within the UC or CSU systems and must demonstrate an interest in education, art education, museum education, child development, or a related field. Interns will assist with the Getty's Family Art Lab program. This activity will include facilitating families' experiences in gallery-based educational activities and outdoor art-making workshops. Interns will also gain exposure to the museum education field by participating in the activities of the Education Department such as meetings, gallery walk-throughs, tours, professional development activities, etc. These activities will be tailored to the particular interests of the interns. Interns must commit to a 13-week internship period from June 4 - September 2, 2012. A total of 12-15 hours per week is required, and interns must be available at least one weekday and one weekend day per week.
