Public Relations - Easton Sports is seeking a Digital Brand Intern who is looking for PR and writing experience. Applicants must love team sports at the highest levels (baseball, fastpitch, slowpitch, hockey and lacrosse). Easton is on a mission to become a 3600 sports brand where innovation meets emotion. PR, storytelling, retail activation, and social media are key components of Easton’s marketing strategy. The position offers the opportunity to write and edit press materials for the sports industry, be Easton’s brand ambassador to its major retail partners, and coordinate social media channels. Specifically, interns will write copy, blog posts, and newsletters, coordinate marketing efforts, work with retail partners, ensure marketing assets are converted to digital, coordinate social media functions, and enhance mobile and new media operations. A four-year college degree is required. In addition, applicants should have one to three years of related experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. A PR, journalism, or marketing background is preferred. Social media skills are a plus. Applicants should love sports, have excellent computer skills, and be knowledgeable of press releases and fact sheets.
