2012 Kappa Tau Alpha initiates – Congratulations to the KTA initiates who will be honored at the 2012 KTA reception on Tuesday, May 8. 21st Annual Kenneth S. Devol First Amendment Forum - "To Report or Not to Report: Balance and Boundaries of Covering Stories about Schools." Professionals working in broadcast, media relations and education will provide firsthand knowledge, experiences and stories about their work in these fields. A panel of experts will delve into the issues that journalists and students face on censorship, reporting and respecting First Amendment rights when difficult stories have to be told. The event will be March 8, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Thousand Oaks Room of the University Student Union. This event is co-sponsored by the CSUN student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Media Mentors class.
