This is a way to connect with neighbors and get involved in the community. This is a full-time summer internship position. Patch is looking for smart students with a passion for local journalism. The ideal candidate needs to be an enrolled undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate. Applicants must have demonstrated reporting experience through campus media, and internship, or a freelance position. Interns will pitch and write stories, attend weekly editorial meetings, shoot and edit photos and video, and cover town meetings. Interns will also execute social media strategies. Public Relations - NASA is offering an internship opportunity for journalism students through their Pathways Student Program at Edwards Air Force Base. This is a paid opportunity with a salary range of $31,171 to $83,126 per year. Current students pursuing a degree in journalism or communications are encouraged to apply. The individual selected for this position will work in the Office of Strategic Communications gaining practical experience working many areas of public affairs, media relations, web and video writing, and all aspects of public outreach activities.
