Web Content Editor - The International Medical News Group (IMNG), a division of Frontline Medical Communications located in Rockville, MD, is seeking a Web content editor to manage and produce content for its medical news web sites. Key responsibilities include:  ensuring that content is user-centric and consistent in style, format and quality; proactively soliciting new content and gathering associated materials; analyzing content and making recommendations where applicable; collaborating with content editors to assess news priorities; posting content to web sites and wire service. The ideal candidate will be a web savvy journalist with a thorough understanding of web content strategies, compelling content and presentation, and appropriate voice. The job offers the opportunity to work with a large editorial staff in a lively, stimulating environment. Qualifications: Bachelor¹s degree in journalism, communications, or related field required; minimum 2-5 years experience with writing and editing electronic articles/publications in a fast-paced publishing environment; Writing and editing with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects; experience with emerging Web technologies and with content updating via an html editor; proficiency in MS Office suite; excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and organizational skills; must work well independent of supervision; experience using a content management system; and excellent understanding of how Web strategy can improve communications efforts.
