Journalism – NBCUniversal will host an information session at the Career Center in University Hall 105 for students interested in interning for the company. The NBCUniversal internship program gives students real-world experience in TV broadcasting, film, and theme park industries and allows them to become familiar with the organization and culture. Students receive the opportunity to apply coursework taught in the classroom to the workplace. Internships areas of learning include film/tv production, sound, marketing, human resources, public relations, business development, finance, photography, graphic design and many more. Students are placed in internships related to their major, experience and career goals. Skills required vary by internship. Students should be in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree with a current class standing of sophomore or above and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
