The account executive will meet or exceed assigned revenue budget in a manner that will reflect the highest level of professional standards and skills while selling and servicing the company accounts in conformity with company policies and procedures. Applicants should have a degree in communications, sales, media sales, marketing or a related field with three or more years of broadcast sales experience. Experience requires successful demonstration of producing sales results, phone skills, maintaining client relations, the ability to function well under pressure, familiarity with the industry, and a valid driver’s license and proven ability to safely drive company vehicles. Producer – KCRA 3/KQCA My 58 has an immediate opening for a strong, high energy newscast producer. The ideal candidate has excellent news judgment, thrives on breaking news, plays to win in a very competitive market and understands how to create bold and visually interesting newscasts. Producers understand and embrace digital storytelling and contribute to various digital platforms. This is a full-time position in Sacramento, California. At least two years of producing experience are required. Applicants should be willing to work various shifts when needed, have strong people skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with anchors, reporters and directors. Reporter - ProPublica is seeking two reporters, one of whom will be covering gender and sexuality issues. The second reporter could cover a wide variety of topics, but the company is particularly interested in candidates who have done investigative stories about environmental and energy issues.  The right candidates will have journalism experience and the ability to write engagingly about complex topics. The main requirement is that applicants have a record of hard-hitting enterprise reporting, the kind that demands change.
