Magazine - LA Parent Magazine, located at 5855 Topanga Canyon Blvd. Suite 150, Woodland Hills, CA 91367 is seeking bright, motivated journalism students to intern with our regional parenting magazine. No parenting experience is necessary, but some writing/editing experience is preferred. We have a small staff, so this is an excellent opportunity to dive in and hone your skills. Interns will help with Twitter and Facebook feeds fed, assist with editorial research, write brief articles for the Website and the “In the Know” section of the magazine, contribute content for the weekly email newsletter, and participate in editorial planning. You’ll work closely with the editor, receive direct feedback about your writing and reporting, and finish the internship with published clips. Interns will receive a stipend of 400 dollars.
