Welcome back spring breakers, we hope you had a lot of fun and hopefully you all got a lot of rest. Don't forget, mandatory advisement ends April 29, if you have not met with an advisor make sure to do so as soon as possible. Freshman, sophomore, and transfers must schedule an appointment and juniors and seniors must meet with an advisor during their office hours. If you happen to miss the deadline, you still have to meet with an advisor in order to get your registration hold removed, which will allow you to register for Fall 2016 classes.

Journalism students are invited to network with professionals from four states, undergo mock job interviews and have resumes critiqued by real newsroom leaders, learn about making it as a freelancer, get the tools to be a more effective, well-branded journalists and much more here in midtown Phoenix.

Historical Society of Southern California's 2016 Conference

The rich, diverse past of Southern California print journalism and its uncertain future in the digital age will be examined by scholars and working journalists at an April 16 conference mounted by the Historical Society of Southern California.
