Summer 2017 Internship Opportunities
Reporting

 AAJA, Los Angeles has announced their sponsorship of two summer reporting internships this year. One internship is at the Orange County Register and the other is at the Pasadena Star-News. Both internships offer the opportunity to write about local Asian communities. 

 Internship details:

  • Each intern paid $4,000 for 10 weeks
  • Full- time
  • Intern will be assigned a mentor 
  • Free AAJA-LA membership
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university or have graduated within the last six months

NPR Next Generation Radio Annenberg School at USC  Students at Cal State schools in greater Los Angeles and the University of Southern California, this one's for you. NPR’s Next Generation Radio is now accepting applications for our non-narrated audio and digital media storytelling project at the Annenberg School at USC March 13-17. Students get to spend a week with their own professional mentor, working on NPR style audio stories, video, social media and web content. There is no cost to apply or be admitted into the program. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles.   Limited parking is available behind the building, in addition to street parking.
