Senders Communications Group, a boutique communications firm based in Canoga Park, is seeking an intern during summer and fall semester. Senders specialize in labor unions and progressive causes. 

Pay: $15/hour

Responsibilities:
  • Provide social media posting (Facebook 155,000 fans, Twitter 5,000 fans, Instagram 1,500 fans),
  • Writing and interviewing
  • Blogging
  • Background research
  • Limited database entry
Requirements:
  • Must be conscientious and detail-oriented
  • Quick learner and accurate
  • Must be very organized 
  • Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Comfortable with social media and Excel
  • Must be able to work independently

NPR Next Generation Radio Annenberg School at USC  Students at Cal State schools in greater Los Angeles and the University of Southern California, this one's for you. NPR’s Next Generation Radio is now accepting applications for our non-narrated audio and digital media storytelling project at the Annenberg School at USC March 13-17. Apply by midnight PST Wednesday February 23 https://nextgenradio.wufoo.com/forms/m1hrmmou0vnz2ee/ This program seeks to increase diversity in public media through hands-on training and mentorship. Students get to spend a week with their own professional mentor, working on NPR style audio stories, video, social media and web content. There is no cost to apply or be admitted into the program. (Students pay travel and food expenses though).
