Spring Internship

DIGITAL SPORTS MEDIA INTERNSHIP
MaxLaxLA.com

MaxLaxLA.com is seeking interns to assist in the coverage of the 2018 high school boys and girls lacrosse season. If you are a college student (or recent graduate) interested in gaining some experience in digital sports journalism, please consider applying.

The ideal candidates are hard-working, meticulous and self-motivated team players seeking to build a body of work in digital sports media. Interns will be assigned a high school lacrosse league and write game recaps and feature stories. This work typically includes conducting interviews both in the office and in the field, writing headlines and captions, copy editing and choosing photos.

The local high school lacrosse season runs from preseason practices in early February through playoffs and championships in mid-May. This paid internship has flexible hours and typically can be performed from home/dorm except for occasional attendance of high school boys’ or girls’ lacrosse games.

Interested applicants can send their resume and cover letter to news@MaxLaxLA.com
