PR student position

The CSUN VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Clinic is opening its doors for the 2018 tax season next week in over 11 sites throughout Los Angeles. They have 420 certified student volunteers ready to provide free tax preparation and financial education to low income taxpayers in the community.  Their goal is to serve over 6,600 taxpayers this coming tax season.

To document the work they do at there sites, they plan to publish an Impact Report at the end of the tax season (April 15). They would like to recruit a Journalism student to draft articles featuring the impact on the lives of the taxpayers served by the volunteers in the clinic. They need help with the write up of 4-6 featured articles (500-750 words each) during the upcoming tax season. The pay is up to $200 per featured article.

Interested candidates may email their resumes to Efrat, Rafi, at Rafael.efrat@csun.edu.
