L.A. Parent & The National Parenting Product Awards are seeking bright, motivated journalism students to intern with their regional parenting magazine and national awards program. No parenting experience is necessary, but writing/editing experience is required. They have a small staff, so this is an excellent opportunity to dive in and hone your skills. Interns will:
•Help with writing and posting on all of their social media platforms
•Assist them with editorial research
•Write brief articles for their website and newsletter
•Participate in editorial planning
Interns work closely with their editorial director, receive direct feedback about their writing and reporting, and finish the internship with real hands-on experience
