Senders Communications Group, a boutique firm based in Canoga Park, is seeking a part-time intern/ researcher 15-20 hrs/ week for a variety of duties including social media posting, some writing, copyediting, interviewing, news gathering, blogging and limited database entry.

We specialize in labor unions and progressive causes, and we are looking for a bright conscientious and detail-oriented team member, who is quick to learn and accurate. you must be very organized, good on the phones, persistent, comfortable with social media and Excel and be able to work independently. This is an in-office position. No telecommuting.

NPR Next Generation Radio Annenberg School at USC  Students at Cal State schools in greater Los Angeles and the University of Southern California, this one's for you. NPR’s Next Generation Radio is now accepting applications for our non-narrated audio and digital media storytelling project at the Annenberg School at USC March 13-17. Apply by midnight PST Wednesday February 23 https://nextgenradio.wufoo.com/forms/m1hrmmou0vnz2ee/ This program seeks to increase diversity in public media through hands-on training and mentorship. Students get to spend a week with their own professional mentor, working on NPR style audio stories, video, social media and web content. There is no cost to apply or be admitted into the program. (Students pay travel and food expenses though).
