Position: Unpaid Internship
Timeframe: Fall '18, 12-16 hours/week

Description
Southern California Life Magazine is looking for interns who are interested in magazine production, are detail oriented, reliable, organized, and have time management skills. This internship is unpaid and requires that students obtain college credit for participation.

Requirements
·             Must be current in AP Style
·             Must have own mode of transportation
·             Must be punctual and reliable
·             Must have personal Apple laptop with Microsoft office
·             Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o   Assist with editing and fact-checking articles
o   Hotel distribution
o   Writing articles
o   Help with day-to-day tasks
o   Print calendar
o   Digital calendar – posting new events, keeping it up to date
o   Media Radar – help with Ad leads
o   Design One Sheets
o   Maintain an updated list of advertisers
o   Maintain an updated list of Articles in each Issue
