Public Relations Internship
Van Nuys-based toy company
Fall 2017

Responsibilities

  • Researching new media contacts and YouTube influencers for all brands
  • Writing email pitches
  • Brainstorming new pitch ideas for all brands
  • Tracking all media clips 
  • Maintaining media databases and editorial calendars
Requirements/Qualifications 
  • Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or media-related major
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Must have a great work ethic and be resourceful 
  • Ability to handle working under tight deadlines and excellent accuracy 
  • Up-to-date on social media, blogger, and YouTube trends
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Strong computer skills are a must 
This is a 3-month unpaid internship. The intern will work at the company's office in Van Nuys.

Student Assistant for University Communications Department: Marketing and Communications, University Advancement Description: Position available for student in writing disciplines with interest and experience in social media creation, news writing, magazine writing and press release development. Position calls for assisting the University Communications staff in content development and copy editing. Applicant must be enrolled full-time as a CSUN student.
