ieiMedia  is a leading provider of study abroad and internship programs that help prepare students for the complex demands of 21st century global journalism. ieiMedia programs combine training in a range of media skills -- photography, video journalism, international reporting, publication design and writing for digital media -- with hands-on practice reporting on a foreign culture.  

More than 1,200 students from more than 80 public and private universities in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Turkey, and Singapore have participated in ieiMedia programs since 2002

Internship Details:
The cost of the summer program is $4,995 plus airfare ($3,700 for two add-on weeks and three more credits in Croatia), this includes:
  • Tuition for three transferrable credits from the University of Jamestown
  • A student to faculty ratio of no more than 5 to 1
  • Accommodations  with host families, in dorms or hostels
  • Cultural and program activities
  • Some meals, including welcome and farewell dinners
  • Travel insurance

Student Editorial Assistant,
Part-time position

The University Student Union is seeking to hire a CSUN student, for the paid part-time position of Student Editorial Assistant in their Marketing Department. 

The USU is especially interested in Journalism majors with strong writing skills because relevant education and specialized capabilities are important for this job. 

**This job includes copywriting and editing on a daily basis.

Key duties include:
  • Writes creative and effective for all assigned marketing materials
  • Proofreads content to ensure that text is well written, logically structured, professional, accurate, and creative
  • Corrects grammar and spelling, in accordance with AP Style Guide
  • Ensures that all text is in line with the USU and campus style guides
  • Develops content and proofreads USU's multiple websites to ensure accuracy
  • Proofreads press releases and media alerts for spelling, grammar, consistency, and accuracy
