LGBT Newspaper, Los Angeles Blade, seeks freelance local Los Angeles story news writers



The Los Angeles Blade is the newspaper of record the the LGBTQ
community for Los Angeles Country. They are also sister newspaper of the
Washington Blade in DC.  Both newspapers are in print and online at
losangelesblade.com and washingtonblade.com.

They are recruiting writers who can regularly cover local Los Angeles
area LGBT news and who are able to work both on assignment and who are
able to scope out original, enterprise news that they then pitch to
the editor. You would work with veteran LGBT news editor Karen Ocamb
on your articles, Karen will offer her expertise and insight.

They are looking for writers with a strong passion for LGBTQ equality
and who are interested in pursuing the highest level of excellence in
their reporting.
